01Overview
C100 does not have an account system, a backend server, or any network connection at all. Every piece of information you enter into C100 — your name, your training plans, every set you log — is written to storage that exists only on your own iPhone. C100 never transmits, sells, or shares your data with anyone, because it has no mechanism to send data anywhere in the first place.
02Data C100 stores on your device
The table below is exhaustive — it lists every field the app writes to storage. Everything is optional except your workout data, which only exists once you choose to create it.
| Data | Required? | Stored where | Used for |
|---|---|---|---|
| First / last name | Optional | Local device settings (UserDefaults) | Personalising the in-app greeting only |
| Sex | Optional | Local device settings (UserDefaults) | Reserved for future personalisation; not currently used in any calculation |
| Weight unit (kg/lb) | Has a default | Local device settings (UserDefaults) | Display preference for logged weights |
| Exercise library entries | Built-in + optional custom entries | On-device database (SwiftData) | Core app function — choosing what to train |
| Training plans | Created by you | On-device database (SwiftData) | Core app function — organising workouts |
| Workout sessions & logged sets (reps, weight, timestamps, duration) | Created by you | On-device database (SwiftData) | Core app function — your training history |
None of the above is linked to your identity in any way outside your own device — there is no user ID, no email, no login credential anywhere in the app, because none is ever collected.
03Data C100 does not collect
For clarity, C100 does not collect, request, or have access to any of the following:
- Account credentials, email address, or phone number — there is no account system
- Precise or approximate location
- Camera, microphone, or photo library access
- Contacts
- Health app (HealthKit) data
- Advertising identifier (IDFA) or any identifier used for cross-app tracking
- Usage analytics, crash reports, or diagnostics sent to us or to any third party
- Data from any third-party SDK — the app does not embed any advertising, analytics, or tracking SDK of any kind
04How your data is stored and protected
All app data is stored locally using Apple’s on-device SwiftData framework and standard iOS device storage (UserDefaults), protected by the same iOS app-sandboxing and device-level security (passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID) that protects the rest of your phone. C100 has no server of any kind, so there is no remote database for anyone — including us — to access, breach, or subpoena.
If you use iCloud or iTunes/Finder device backups, your C100 data may be included in that backup as part of your phone’s general backup, the same as any other app’s local storage. This is an iOS system behaviour, not something C100 initiates or controls; you can exclude individual apps from backup in your device’s iCloud settings.
Uninstalling C100 permanently deletes all of its local data. Because nothing is stored off-device, this deletion cannot be undone or recovered by us — there is nothing on our end to restore from.
05Your choices and control
- Edit or clear your name, sex, and weight-unit preference at any time in the app’s Settings screen.
- Delete individual exercises, plans, or past workouts directly within the app.
- Delete the app itself to erase all C100 data from your device completely.
Because C100 has no server and no account, there is no separate “download my data” or “delete my account” request to make — you already have full, direct control over 100% of your data at all times, on your device.
06Children's privacy
C100 is not directed at children under 13 and is not designed to appeal primarily to children. Because the app collects no data off-device from any user, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children either.
07Third-party services and tracking
C100 does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting service. The app does not use Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework because it does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites — there is nothing in C100 that qualifies as “tracking” under Apple’s definition.
08This website
Everything above describes the app. The C100 website is separate, and collects only the following:
- Launch notifications. If you ask to be told when C100 launches, we receive the email address you give us. We use it only to tell you about the launch, never sell or share it, and will delete it whenever you ask. If the site collects it through a form, the form provider processes it on our behalf for that purpose only.
- Page-view statistics. The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views in aggregate. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites.
None of this is connected to the app, and nothing from the app is ever sent to the website.
09Future changes to what this app does
C100’s developer has indicated a future intent to offer optional cloud sync (for example, via Apple’s CloudKit). If that or any other feature that transmits data off your device is added, this policy will be rewritten and republished before that update ships, and Clause 1’s summary will be updated to match. Until that happens, everything in this policy holds without exception.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app. Any changes will be posted at this same URL with a revised “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
