Privacy Policy
This policy covers the Station Eight iOS app. It’s written to describe exactly what the app does, with nothing generic added and nothing left out.

The short version
Station Eight does not collect any personal data. Everything you enter — your training plan, your workout logs, your notes — is stored only on your own device. It is never transmitted to us, to Apple, or to anyone else, because the app has no servers and makes no network requests of any kind.
The rest of this policy explains that in the detail Apple’s guidelines require, section by section.
1Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to the Station Eight iOS application (“the app,” “Station Eight”), available on the Apple App Store. It does not apply to any other product, or to any third-party site you may reach by following a link from this one.
By using Station Eight, you agree to the practices described here. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
2Information you provide
Station Eight has no account or sign-in system. Everything below is entered directly by you, into the app, and is never linked to your name, email address, or any other identity — because the app never asks for one.

3Information we automatically collect
None. Station Eight contains no analytics software, no crash-reporting service, no advertising SDK, and no code that reads your device’s advertising identifier, precise location, contacts, photos, or health data. It does not use your camera or microphone. It makes no network requests — the app works identically with your device in Airplane Mode.
4Where your information is stored
Everything in §2 is stored only on your device, in the app’s local database. It is never sent to us, to Apple, or to any third party — Station Eight has no server to send it to.
Device backups
If you have iCloud Backup, or an encrypted local backup through the Finder or iTunes, turned on for your device, your Station Eight data is included the same way any other app’s local data is. That’s a standard feature of iOS, controlled entirely by your own device settings — Station Eight doesn’t do anything itself to send your data to iCloud or anywhere else, and your backup is protected by the same encryption and account security as the rest of your device backup.
5How your information is used
Solely to run the app for you: generating your training program, running your live workout sessions, and showing you your own history and progress. Nothing you enter is used for advertising, is analyzed by us, or is used for any purpose beyond displaying it back to you on your own device.
6Sharing with third parties
We don’t share your information with anyone, because we never receive it. Station Eight includes no third-party analytics, advertising, or data-processing software of any kind. We have no way to access, sell, or share data we never had in the first place.
7Your choices and control
- Deleting a plan in the app permanently deletes that plan and every session and log that belongs to it, from your device, immediately.
- Deleting the app permanently deletes all of its data from your device (unless a copy remains in a device backup you’ve separately chosen to keep — see §4).
- There’s no “request my data” or “delete my account” process, because there’s no account and no copy of your data anywhere but your own device. You already have complete, exclusive control of it at all times.
8Children's privacy
Station Eight is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children — in practice this is automatic, since the app doesn’t collect information from anyone. If you believe a child has provided information through this app, note that any such information exists only on that child’s own device and was never transmitted to us; it can be removed by deleting the plan or the app itself.
9Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we’ll update the effective date above and post the revised version at this same location. If a change is material, we’ll also note it in the App Store update notes for the release that introduces it.
